OUR COMMUNITY

The Gratitude

What is The Gratitude?

The Gratitude was founded in 2025 from a place of love, hope, and belief in human potential. We are a community built on diversity, equality, and compassion.
Our mission is to support children and young people with disabilities in discovering confidence, joy, and purpose through creativity — including music, performing arts, visual arts, and event production.

♥  Here, everyone is seen. Everyone is valued. Everyone belongs.  ♥

A Message from Willo:
“My name is Willo, and The Gratitude comes from my heart and my own life journey. Growing up, I realised how many children never receive the same opportunities I did. During the pandemic, I saw incredible talent in children and young people with disabilities — but after graduation, many of them faded into silence because society didn’t give them a chance. I wanted to change that. The Gratitude was born so they can grow, shine, and build a better future doing something they truly love.”

Why Do We Exist?

Too many talented young people with disabilities are overlooked, underestimated, or simply never given a chance.
Many families in Indonesia cannot afford higher education, and finding a job is extremely difficult — not because these young people lack talent or passion, but because opportunities are limited.

The Gratitude exists to change that.
We help them grow not only creatively, but also into skilled, confident professionals with real futures.

What Do We Do?

We create meaningful shows, creative programs, and professional training experiences that celebrate courage, talent, and uniqueness.
With mentorship from experienced professionals, our participants:

  • develop real skills

  • build professional portfolios

  • gain work experience

  • and earn income doing something they love

What’s Next?

We are continuing to grow The Gratitude Show as a powerful platform for performance, creativity, empowerment, and opportunity.
With every show and every program, we create more hope, more impact, and more chances for young people with disabilities to shine.

Our next big step:
We will host The Gratitude Show – Volume 2 on June 27, 2026. This edition will introduce a fresh new concept and creative approach, while staying true to the same heartfelt mission and values that The Gratitude stands for.
